He was then asked to recover One's memories so that the Mogs can easily track the other Garde members using an untested device of Dr.
His journey through One's memories changed his perspective about the Lorics and all that were taught to them in The Great Book written by Setrakus Ra. Witnessing the life of One and her Cepan Hilde brought sympathy for Lorien.
He wakes up in a coma after three years only to find Ivan creeping up to get the favor of his father and his role in trying to save the other Garde members. This book was really interesting with this telling us the things we don't know about the Lorien's enemies. I wonder what's his role, if ever there is, in defeating Setrakus Ra.

Ever since the beginning of the Lorien Legacies Series I have always wondered what happened exactly to the first three of the Lorien and their Cepans.
I finally got the answers in this novella. The Fallen Legacies brings a whole new perspective to this series. It starts all the way back in the beginning before any of the Lorien have died and the narrator of the story is a young This was one of my favorite novellas of this series.
It starts all the way back in the beginning before any of the Lorien have died and the narrator of the story is a young mogadorian kid named Adamus, Adam for short. He is the son of one of the generals for the Mogadore. You wouldn't think you would come around to actually liking and feeling for a Mog, but in this book you completely do. You learn all about how One, Two and Three die and what part Adam has in each of their deaths. You get to know the other side of the story and understand what is going on with them.
I can't wait to see what this part of the story has to do with later in the actual books. I hope this novella plays a biggger part and Adam shows up later on. If you haven't read this series or these short stories, I definitely recommend that you start immediately. You will not be disappointed. I think it has a really good message too. It teaches that you can be who you want to be no matter what the thoughts of those around you think.

This was a very enjoyable read that fleshes out the back-story of the first three Garde. It was very interesting to hear the other side of the story, and learn more about what makes the bad guys tick. He is an awesome mogadorian who changed his heart after Number One and him share a brain hard to explain. Lore made him a lovable character and he succeeded! It was interesting to see this from the point of view of the Mog general's son Adamus. Adamus is an extremely complex character and it was an intriguing struggle to follow as he decided between his family and upbringing and what he thought was right. I look forward to hopefully seeing Adamus again in the future of the series.

He has a difficult relationship with his family, but through some alien science is given a special link to Number One, learning from her memories and experiences.
They form somewhat of a friendship, despite his contrasting upbringing and worldview, and she haunts him as Adamus encounters the Garde Two and Three. As a result, Adam is trapped in a three-year long coma during which he interacts with the ghost of Number One and views her memories. Initially full of bloodlust like the others of his race, this experience causing him to change and sympathize with the Loric.
After Adam wakes up three years later, his father is eager for Adam to prove himself and bring glory to his family name. Upon hearing news of a Garde in London, the General brings Adam and his adopted brother Ivan, who is constantly in competition, to England where they make use of a Mogadorian base in London. Meanwhile, Adam notices a blog post, written by Number Two , flagged by Mogadorian surveillance and realizes that no other Mogadorian in the base has noticed.
Adam tracks Two and travels to her safe house. He helps her pack, pretending to be Loric, but he is discovered and swarmed by Mogadorians led by Ivan. Two is killed by Ivan who believes that Adam was being sneaky and wanted to get to her first. Years later, Adam has one final chance to redeem himself for his supposed weakness towards the Garde.
Having studied and trained hard, he is a lot stronger than he was.
