I was not looked into query properties when every one suggested me to change the ODBC timeout property. A global property should not override an individual object's property. You may try to reduce the number of updates in one update list to test this issue. Since last month released updates contains about 6 or 7 updates i added them one by one and that seems to work. All other update lists were created succesful, next step is deploying the W7 updates to the test collections Just tried creating a update list of 1 updates from a Windows 7 machine with the console installed and that worked.
